4月12日晚，由留学生管理办公室和国际学生联合会举办的“英语角-国际文化沙龙”在师大路燕子咖啡馆热闹开场，来自苏丹的高行和宁静作为本期沙龙的嘉宾进行了分享展示。
TheeventstartedwithEssraraisingIce-Breakingquestionsabouthercountry,Sudan.All?participantshadthechancetosharetheirknowledgeingroupsansweringthequestionsraised.?Theparticipantswereabout50individualsformedinto9groups.

沙龙以高行关于苏丹的破冰热身小问答开始，在场的50余名中外学生积极参与其中，大家每九人一组，分享者自己关于苏丹的想象（因为绝大多数人都没有去过苏丹）。
Afewminuteslater,EssrawithTasneemwentonstagetopresenttheircountry,Sudan.They?firststartedwithFactsandMisconductspeopleclaimtoknowaboutSudan：
1.EveryoneisblackinSudan.
2.It’salwayssummerinthere?.
3.Sudanisawarzonearea.

随后，高行和宁静登上讲台，开始正式介绍苏丹。她们首先纠正了大家对苏丹的几个认识误区：
1.所有苏丹人都是黑人
2.苏丹并不是整年都是夏天
3.苏丹是一个充满战争的地区
4.苏丹很贫穷

打破刻板印象后，她们为观众介绍了苏丹的饮食文化、旅游景点和婚礼习俗，特别介绍了尼罗河的发源地、流经区域和入海口。图蒂岛在尼罗河流域是一个特殊的存在，因为它奇特的地理环境，白尼罗河与青尼罗河在那里汇合在一起而形成尼罗河。
Afterthepresentation,theydistributedpapers,TrueORFalsefacts,totheaudienceandthen?theanswerswerecollected.Anotheractivityfollowedandwasaboutformingpyramids,with?papers.Eachgrouptrieditsbestmakingonepyramidandlatertwowinnerswereselected.?Afewminuteslater,someparticipantswentonstagetoperformanactingsceneabout?Sudaneseweddings.Duringthisactivitythebride,thegroom,andthebridesmaidswiththe?helpofpresenterssucceededtoconveyalldetailsaboutSudaneseweddingstotheaudience.?
接下来就进入了激动人心的小组活动及分享展示环节。每个小组依据真实照片，用彩纸制作金字塔模型，制作过程中，大家也明白了苏丹金字塔和埃及金字塔的区别。紧接着，在优美动听的音乐声中，一对“新郎新娘”走上舞台，一场苏丹传统婚礼拉开了序幕，大家通过一种更直观的方式，进一步了解了苏丹的婚礼文化传统。

本次沙龙在一片温馨热闹的氛围中落下了帷幕，大家纷纷向高行和宁静表示感谢，是她们让大家了解了一个不为大众所熟知的苏丹，再次证明了“英语角-国际文化沙龙”在促进跨文化交流中的重要作用。
